A Letter From Edlos
Date: November 27th, 2015
My Name is Edlos. I am pleased to share a little of my story and my appreciation for the 12-24 Club.
In 2014 I had been arrested for my 3rd D.W.I. I went to jail for 90 days and then sent to rehab for another 90 days and was sent to Drug Court for outpatient counseling. One of the requirements for Drug Court is to be employed. I went upstairs to the 12-24 Club and filled out an application. Within a few days I went back for an interview and was hired as an apprentice cook.
All of the employees welcomed me and my training began. The other employees and volunteers had been through what I was going through and they understood. We are a team.
I am now over 8 months clean and sober and I look forward to my job every day. The smiling faces of our customers and the great attitudes of all the people here have changed my life. I have so many good friends now.
I am going to school at Casper College and my goal is to get my GED certificate.
