A Letter From Lyle
Date: November 30th, 2015
My name is Lyle B. What has the 12-24 Club done for me over the past 4 months? I’m an individual that has been battling alcohol for over 20 years. My work at the 12 24 Club has strengthen my honesty with myself and those around me. I have been sober 11 months and am on a significant path of change.
I was revoked from parole last December and was re-released in July of this year. I was a welder and since the disruption of the current job market found myself unemployed, I found employment at the 12 24 Club as a janitor and maintence man. The staff and professionals have provided me with an opportunity to help me get my life back on track. Since July this club has provided me with my AA meetings and my home group. Expect A Miracle is just what it says, a miracle for me. I give back and I am of service whenever I can be because of what has been provided for me deserves to be given back. The help I received has motivated me to enroll at Casper College. I will be studying Environmental Science. This education will expand my spiritual path.
Without the help of the members and the 12-24 Club I really don't think my journey would have opened itself up as much as it has and for that I am and will always be thankful for the 12-24 Club.
